Cookie Policy

This cookie policy explains what cookies are, which cookies we use on echo-vision.net, and how you can manage your preferences.

Last updated: 14 September 2026

This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your device. Cookies let a site remember information about your visit, such as your preferences, login state, or items in a basket.

Cookies set by us are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by other services we use are called third-party cookies. Both can be temporary, meaning they are deleted when you close your browser, or persistent, meaning they are stored for a defined period.

We also use similar technologies such as pixels, tags, and local storage. For simplicity we refer to all of these as "cookies" in this policy.

Why we use cookies

We use cookies to:

  • Make the website work and keep it secure
  • Remember your cookie preferences
  • Understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it
  • Measure the effectiveness of our marketing

Your consent

When you first visit echo-vision.net, our cookie banner asks for your consent to set non-essential cookies. Strictly necessary cookies are always active because the site cannot function without them.

You can change your preferences at any time by clicking the cookie settings link in the website footer.

Cookies we use

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential for the website to function. They are usually set in response to actions you take, such as submitting forms or setting privacy preferences. The site will not work properly without them. They do not store personally identifying information for marketing purposes.

Targeting and advertising cookies

We do not currently set targeting or advertising cookies on this website. If that changes we will update this policy and the cookie banner before any such cookies are set.

Other third-party services

Some services we use do not set cookies but do receive your IP address when a page loads, because your browser requests a file from them. These are Adobe Fonts and Google Fonts, which deliver the typefaces used across the site, and Google reCAPTCHA, which protects our forms from automated abuse.

How to manage cookies

You can manage cookies in three ways:

  1. Cookie banner. Use our cookie banner when you first visit, or click the cookie settings link in the website footer to change your preferences at any time.
  2. Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. See the help section of your browser for instructions. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop parts of the website from working.
  3. Opt out at source. You can opt out of specific third-party services directly.

Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no agreed standard for how websites should respond to this signal, so echo-vision.net does not currently react to it. You can still manage cookies using the methods above.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the cookies we use change or when the law changes. We will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be brought to your attention through the website, for example via the cookie banner.
